 |
The
Big Five refers to lion, leopard,
elephant, buffalo and rhino. These
animals are top of the list of animals
to see on a safari. The Wonderful
Seven includes cheetah and the critically
endangered African Wild Dog. All of
these species are resident in the

The accommodation is not fenced and animals are free to roam. A herd of zebra or impala grazing at the very steps of your accommodation is a familiar sight at Umzolozolo. |
 |
Is it safe for children? |
 |
As
long as all visitors to the reserve
follow the rules and respect the animals,
a visit to the bush is no more dangerous
than any other vacation. Umzolozolo
is on a Big Five game reserve which
offers the chance of thrillingly close
encounters with many species of wild
animal. This means that children should
be closely supervised by their parents
at all times. Children are welcome
on game drive activities as long as
they do not affect the viewing enjoyment
of other guests- a child minding service
is available for parents who wish
to take part in this activity on their
own. |
